About the festival:
Founded in 1993, Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF) is the only competitive film festival in China approved by FIAPF. SIFF focuses on awards, markets, forums and film exhibitions so as to build an international platform, and promote the development of the Chinese film industry.

23rd ShortShorts Film Festival & Asia

About the festival:
The Short Shorts Film Festival (SSFF) started in 1999 and became an Academy of Motion Picture Art and Sciences accredited festival in 2004, where the winner of the Short Shorts Grand Prix is eligible to receive an Academy Awards® nomination. SSFF has now become one of the largest short film festivals in Asia. In 2004, SSFF received a request from the Governor of Tokyo to develop film programs showcasing Asian short films. This led to the establishment of the Short Shorts Film Festival Asia. Now, these two festivals take place in Harajuku and Omotesando, Tokyo simultaneously in June as the Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia.

About the festival:
Since our founding in 2001, Korea Queer Film Festival (KQFF) is an annual event held in Seoul, Korea, as part of the Seoul Queer Culture Festival (SQCF)—the largest LGBTQ+ festival in Korea visited by more than 150,000 people. Starting from a small screening event, KQFF has achieved significant growth, programming more than 70 films last year and marking its 20th anniversary next year. As a non-profit organization run by volunteers, the mission of KQFF is to celebrate diversity and develop cultural resources for the LGBTQ+ community, bringing the queer’s voices on screen. KQFF works as the public sphere for cultural/political agendas, including anti-discrimination law and its legislation, the possibility of identity politics, and irregularities in social structures.

About the festival
The principal objective of Seoul Guro International Kids Film Festival (GUKIFF) is to present the most outstanding films for children, youth, and families produced in all over the world. Established in 2013, GUKIFF is striving to encourage young generations who will lead the film industry and support them to get various opportunities. BIKY is the one of the best festivals that has provided a venue for children and teenagers to communicate through various films from all around world. BIKY has one competition called ‘Ready~Action!’ for films directed by children and teenagers. BIKY aims to discover films by young directors and develop new contents in the relevant fields for the future.

About the festival:
MINIKINO FILM WEEK has been held annually since 2015. This festival was founded and organized by the Minikino committee as its parent organization, which has been working since 2002 in this field. Furthermore, the Minikino organization is under the Indonesian legal entity; Yayasan Kino Media.

Minikino Film Week International Short Film Festival reaffirms that short films are cultural products with cultural and social values from the artists who live in that society. The short film presents artistic achievements in a contemporary product that describes the latest cultural, aesthetic and social trends.

28th Women Make Waves Film Festival

Established as a non-profit organization in 1993, Women Make Waves Int’l Film Festival, has been one of the major film festivals in Taiwan and has established itself as the biggest one dedicated to supporting female talents. About the festival:
Kineko International Children’s Film Festival has made an official decision to cancel this year’s festival. It was a very hard and heavy decision for us to make. However, with the concerns about the spreading COVID-19 worldwide, and the potential effect on festival events, we have made this decision together.
