MMFF 2017 | Screening Distribution | Day 1

We present the first report about the Film Distribution of the Metro Manila Film Festival that is taking place in Philippines from December 25th – January 7th, 2017

Day 1 | Monday | December 25th, 2017

Introduction:
On the first day of the MMFF2017 there were 3881 screenings on 162 venues. Gandarrapiddo: The Revenger Squad led the screenings chart with 874 screenings (22.52 %). At the bottom we find Siargao with only 232 (5.98 %). As expected SM Cinema lead the chart with 1430 screenings. A chart with the distribution of the movies by Cinema Houses can be seen at the bottom of this report. There was no denounces from the public, filmmakers or producers.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is still being shown in some cinemas Ayala Malls Cinema (13 Screenings), Robinsons Movieworld (4), SM Cinema (37), and Vista Malls Cinema (6). This screenings didn’t take part of this report.
