
The Sinepiyu Film Festival (Philippines) is accepting short films (until April 15, 2022) done by students from across the Philippines.
About the festival:
SINEPIYU is Far Eastern University’s most prestigious film festival. Now in it’s 13th year, it has maintained a benchmark of credibility as a university-based film competition, offering two divisions – ALL TAMARAWS, and INTERSCHOOL with three categories, Narrative, Documentary, and Experimental. The ALL TAMARAWS (All Tams) category is exclusive for students currently enrolled in FEU-Manila, while the INTERSCHOOL category is open for students filmmakers (College and Senior High School) across the Philippines.
Eligibility for All Tamaraws Category:
– FEU Films from Directing and Film Production Classes of 4th-year Digital Cinema this year will automatically be the official finalists for the All Tamaraws Category of Sinepiyu XIV as long as they have been submitted within the given deadline.
– Entries must strictly be within the narrative form only.
– Films must be submitted in .mp4 or .mov format and at least 720 HD resolution.
– No Copyright material should be present in the film: All entries may consist of originally composed music, whereas musical pieces used from other sources must be credited.
– Final films must have a total running time of a minimum of five (5) minutes and shall not exceed twenty (20) minutes, including opening and closing billboards.
– Entries may be in any language provided with English subtitles.
– Submission must be done via Sinepiyu XiV registration form (see link below).
– Deadline: April 15, 2022 (11:59 PM)

Eligibility for Interschool Category:
– All Senior High School and College students in the Philippines are welcome to join as long as their films were produced not early than January 2021.
– Entries may be within narrative, experimental, and documentary form.
– Films must be submitted in .mp4 or .mov format and at least 720 HD resolution.
– No Copyright material should be present in the film: All entries may consist of originally composed music, whereas musical pieces used from other sources must be credited.
– Final films must have a total running time of a minimum of five (5) minutes and shall not exceed twenty (20) minutes, including opening and closing billboards.
– Entries may be in any language provided with English subtitles.
– Filmmakers or Film Producers may submit more than one entry.
– Deadline: April 15, 2022 (11:59 PM)
