6th Festival of Animation Berlin – Asian Presence 2022
Eight Asian films will be screened during the Festival of Animation Berlin which will take place from September 30 until October 2, 2022.
Three Asian films were awarded at the Ottawa International Animation Festival
“Bird in the Peninsula” by Atsushi Wada, “Dozens of Norths” by Koji Yamamura, and “Iizuna Fair” by Sumito Sakakibara were awarded at the Ottawa International Animation Festival (Canada) which took place from September 21 – 25, 2022.
Three Asian films were awarded at the 70th San Sebastian International Film Festival
Genki Kawamura won the Silver Shell for Best Director for his film “A Hundred Flowers”, Dong Yun Zhou and Wang Chao won the Jury Prize for Best Screenplay for “A Woman”, and On Either Side of the Pond directed by Parth Saurabh won the Kutxabank-New Directors Award. The San Sebastian International Film Festival (Spain) took place from September 16 – 24, 2022.
