“Bird in the Peninsula” by Atsushi Wada, “Dozens of Norths” by Koji Yamamura, and “Iizuna Fair” by Sumito Sakakibara were awarded at the Ottawa International Animation Festival (Canada) which took place from September 21 – 25, 2022.
Genki Kawamura won the Silver Shell for Best Director for his film “A Hundred Flowers”, Dong Yun Zhou and Wang Chao won the Jury Prize for Best Screenplay for “A Woman”, and On Either Side of the Pond directed by Parth Saurabh won the Kutxabank-New Directors Award. The San Sebastian International Film Festival (Spain) took place from September 16 – 24, 2022.
