Dear Asian filmmakers, the American Documentary and Animation Film Festival (USA) is accepting documentaries and short animations until January 10, 2027.

About the festival:
The American Documentary and Animation Film Festival and Film Fund (AmDocs) is one of the largest documentary and animation festivals in the United States, held in beautiful Palm Springs — just a short drive from the media capital of Hollywood. This internationally recognized event celebrates excellence in documentary, animation, and music video storytelling across both short and feature formats.

Eligibility:
– The festival accepts short documentaries (under 40 minutes), feature documentaries (over 41 minutes), and short animated films (under 40 minutes).
– Films must have been produced in the last 3 years.
– Films must not have played at any other festivals within a 70-mile radius of Palm Springs, California.
– All foreign-language films must be submitted with English subtitles.
– Submissions must be made via FilmFreeway.
