
The Kuandu International Animation Festival (Taiwan) is accepting animated short films until July 5, 2026.
About the festival:
The Kuandu International Animation Festival (KDIAF) was established in 2011 and nowadays is one of the most important animation film festivals in Taipei. It is organized by the Taipei National University of the Arts, surrounded by the Kuandu Plain, a landscape rich in culture, arts and humanities.
Eligibility:
– Any audiovisual animated films, created frame by frame, with a running time less than 30 minutes, including titles and credits may be entered.
– Films done by students should apply for the Best Student Film Award category.
– Films must be completed after January 1, 2025 and never previously submitted to the KDIAF.
– The animation must be completed works. Unfinished animation will not be included in the preliminary review. Modification of the film(s) or changing the title after submission will not be accepted.
– Films must have English subtitles.
– Submissions must be made via FilmFreeway.
– Submission Fee: FREE
– Deadline: July 5, 2026
– Notification Date: September 1, 2026
