41st Torino Film Festival – Call for Entry 2023

Dear Asian filmmakers, the Torino Film Festival (Italy) is accepting films until September 15, 2023.

About the festival:
The Torino Film Festival’s purpose is to constitute a meeting point for contemporary international cinema and to provide the opportunity for a discussion on all its perspectives and artistic trends. The Festival pays particular attention to emerging cinemas and young filmmakers. In its competitive sections, it promotes films by new directors whose works are characterized by strong formal and stylistic innovation.

*Note: This article will display information of Competitions and Sections where Asian filmmakers can submit their films.

Festival Sections:
– Competition Sections:
* International Feature Films Competition
* International Documentaries Competition
* Italian Documentaries Competition
* Italian Short Films Competition
– Non-Competitive Sections:
* Out-of-Competition
– Special Screenings

– The festival is open to feature-length films and documentaries.
– Films must be completed after September 1, 2022.
– Films should be longer than 60 minutes in length.
– The Festival excludes from participation works that have already been screened in any way in Italy, as well as works that have participated in main competitions at major international film festivals such as Cannes and Berlin.
– Foreign films will be screened in their original version with Italian subtitles. For non-English speaking films, the producers are invited – when possible – to provide an English subtitled print.
