Midnight in a Perfect World directed by Dodo Dayao will open the Ngilngig Asian Fantastic Film Festival which will take place from October 27 – 30, 2022 at the Cinematheque Center Davao (Davao City, Philippines).

In a near-future Manila, mysterious blackouts hit random parts of the city. People disappear inside these blackouts. The only way to survive being caught in one is to find a safe house. A house with no windows nobody has seen, let alone inside of. Four friends think it’s all an elaborate hoax…until they get caught in the middle of one. (NAFFF 2022)
