The NFDC Screenwriters’s Lab is accepting screenplays until August 23, 2022. * Open only for Indian citizens residing in India with Feature length fiction film projects*

About the Lab:
The NFDC Screenwriters’ Lab is an annual programme that offers screenwriters the opportunity to experiment with and explore their screenplays under the mentorship of acclaimed international script and industry experts.

Held in collaboration with Film Bazaar, the lab also introduces participants to global industry norms and practices. Additionally, the lab trains the participants to pitch and present their projects to domestic and international producers and investors.

Eligibility:
– Open only for Indian citizens residing in India.
– Open only for Feature length fiction films.
– Participant’s script must be registered with Screenwriter’s Association or any equivalent body in your state or country. Unregistered scripts will not be accepted.
– Applications will not be considered complete without payment of the application fee. The fees non-refundable, no fee will be charged for subsequent stages of the lab.
– All the submissions including the script and dialogues must be in English at the application stage. However, the final film can be in any Indian language.
– The information on the application form cannot be edited once submitted.
– Selected participants will be required to sign an Undertaking Statement in person.
– The Lab will be held in three (3) parts. Attending all three parts of the lab, as well as, NFDC Film Bazaar is mandatory.
– Application Fee: INR 8000
– Deadline: August 23, 2022

Session 1 – September 2022
Session 2 – October 2022
Session 3 – Before the NFDC Film Bazaar
NFDC Film Bazaar – November 20 – 24, 2022
