14th Seoul Yeongdeungpo International Extreme-Short Image & Film Festival – Call for Entry 2022

The Seoul Yeongdeungpo International Extreme-Short Image & Film Festival (SESIFF) is now accepting short films (under 15 minutes) until July 15th, 2022, and Short Films (under 90 seconds) until August 5th, 2022.

General Rules:
The aim of SESIFF is to make innovative visual culture everyone enjoying and imagining beyond just watch the movie. Cultural trends are changing rapidly as the speed of the changing world. In daily life, short video will provide the opportunity of imagine. We hope you enjoy the moment away from noises, advertisements and duties around us for a while.

Eligibility for the Extreme-Short/Shorts Film Competition
* Extreme-Short International Competition
– For films under 5 minutes in length.
– Films should have been completed after January 1st, 2021.
– The festival accepts any type of subjects and genres.
– Films must not have been submitted to the SESIFF before.

* Short International Competition
– For films between 5 to 15 minutes in length.
– Films should have been completed after January 1st, 2021.
– The festival accepts any type of subjects and genres.
– Films must not have been submitted to the SESIFF before.

Eligibility for the 90 Seconds Film Competition
* International Competition
– For films under 90 seconds in length.
– The festival accepts any type of subjects and genres.
– Films should be suitable for public showing. Films could be understood without sound and dialogues as it would be screened in subways (But you can use sound for the online and theater screening).
– There is no limit to the year of production.

* ESG Special Competition
– For films under 1800 seconds in length.
– Films should be related with ESG (Environmental Social Governance)
– Films should be suitable for public showing. Films could be understood without sound and dialogues as it would be screened in subways (But you can use sound for the online and theater screening).
– There is no limit to the year of production.

– The festival does not accept registration by post mail and offline registration in ANY case.
– Preview films has to offer English subtitles if the dialogue is not in English.
Submission Fees: FREE but you may have to pay some fee at the submission platform (ShortFilmDepot or FestHome)
Deadlines:
* Extreme-Short/Shorts Film Competition – July 15, 2022
* 90 Seconds Film Competition – August 15th, 2022
Notification Dates:
* Extreme-Short/Shorts Film Competition – August 17th, 2022
* 90 Seconds Film Competition – August 25th, 2022

We remind readers that the 14th Seoul Yeongdeungpo International Extreme-Short Image & Film Festival will take place in cinemas and online from October 18th – 23rd, 2022. The Subway Screening will take place from September 28th to October 21st, 2022.
