
Organizers of the Japanese Film Festival in Australia announced this week that the 25th edition will take place in cinemas from 28 October until 5 December in Canberra, Perth, Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney.
This year the Japanese Film Festival in Australia will have screening at the new venue Palace Cinemas. The program will feature an expertly curated selection of films, from the hottest newly-released feature titles alongside action, anime, drama, documentaries and much more. The festival will also screen in cinemas a FREE Tribute series of films by Shuji Terayama. Moreover, from November 15 until 21, there will be a free online program of five films for people living in Australia. The full program will be announced on September 16th, 2021.
