Kamila Andini’s Nana won the Jury Prize at the International Competition of the 5th Brussels International Film Festival (Belgium) which took place from June 23 until July 2, 2022.
Delikado, a USA-Philippines-UK-Australia-HongKong co-production, directed by Karl Malakunas won the Sustainable Future Award at the 69th Sydney Film Festival which took place from June 8 – 19, 2022.
The Udine Far East Film Festival will give the Golden Mulberry Award for Lifetime Achievement to the renowned director, Kitano Takeshi. The festival will take place from April 22 – 30, 2022 in Udine, Italy.
The Nippon Connection Film Festival (Germany) will give the Nippon Honor Award to the renowned actor Masatoshi Nagase. The festival will take place from May 24 – 29, 2022 in Frankfurt.
The 24th Busan International Film Festival (Korea) announced that the recipient of the 2019 Asian Filmmaker of the Year Award will be the highly acclaimed Japanese film director Kore-eda Hirokazu.
