17th Luxembourg City Film Festival – Call for Entry 2027

Dear Asian filmmakers, the Luxembourg City Film Festival is accepting feature films (fiction or documentary) until November 20, 2026.

About the festival:
Jointly supported by the Ministry of Culture and the City of Luxembourg, the Luxembourg City Film Festival is the country’s official festival. Each year, it presents a carefully compiled programme and numerous exclusive film screenings. The eleven-day event offers an overview of contemporary international filmmaking with a selection of feature films and documentaries, special screenings, national productions and a programme tailored to a younger audience.

Eligibility:
– The festival accepts feature films, both fiction and documentary.
– Films must be 60 minutes or more in length.
– International Short Films are not eligible for submission.
– Films must have been produced between 2026 and 2027.
– Film should not have had a theatrical release in Luxembourg, Belgium, France, or Germany before March 14, 2027. However, if your film has been presented at previous festivals, it does not affect its eligibility.
– By submitting your film, you confirm that you hold all the rights to the film and its content. You also confirm that your film does not infringe upon any third-party rights. The Luxembourg City Film Festival will not be held responsible for any copyright infringement or legal issues arising from the screening of your film.
– Film must be submitted for consideration in its original version with English subtitles.
– Submission fees are not refundable.
– Submissions must be done via Eventival.
– Submission Fees:
* From June 15 until October 20, 2026 – $ 40 Euros
* From October 20 until November 20, 2026 – $ 60 Euros
– Deadline: November 20, 2026
