
The Jakarta Film Week (Indonesia) is accepting films until June 5, 2026.
About the festival:
The Jakarta Film Week, first held in 2021, is a testament to the existence and resurgence of the film industry during the global pandemic. The Jakarta Film Week reflects the Jakarta Tourism and Culture Office’s continuous efforts and commitment to advance and develop domestic and international film industries. Filmmakers and film audiences in Indonesia have embraced this international festival with enthusiasm.
Eligibility:
– The festival accepts shorts (below 25 minutes) and feature films (over 60 minutes).
– Fictions, animations, and documentaries are welcome.
– Films must have been produced between 2024 – 2026.
– Although there is no Premiere Status requirement, the festival will prioritize world, international and Asian premieres, in that order.
– The festival will hold screenings in cinemas and online (geo-blocked in Indonesia). Applicants can select online or offline screening options in the submission form.
– Films in any other language other than English must have English subtitles.
– Submission Fee: FREE
– Deadline: June 5, 2025
