19th DisOrient, Asian American Film Festival – Closing Film 2024

Unbroken Ties directed by Graham Streeter, Grace Swe Zin Htaik will close the DisOrient, Asian American Film Festival, which is taking place from from March 8 – 10, 2024 (Eugene, USA) and online from March 11 – 17, 2024.

About the Directors:
Graham Streeter (born January 22, 1964) is an American film director, screenwriter and cinematographer. Streeter was raised in northern California until high school. He lived in Osaka, Japan for 10 years while working in film and television, then returned to the United States and attended California State University, Sacramento. Relying on his own abilities, he’s been able to celebrate his 5th feature film, “Unfix”, which recently won Outstanding Feature Drama at the 28th Sacramento International Film Festival (2023).

Grace Swe Zin Htaik has appeared in over 200 Burmese films and contributed to many more in various capacities acting as director, producer, and consultant. She is deeply involved in Myanmar’s burgeoning entertainment industry and has made a point of using her platform to bring attention to social justice issues and public health concerns. Grace Swe Zin Htaik is also the owner and operator of CSG, a company providing operational support for international film projects based in Myanmar and continues to contribute to her community by facilitating events, organizing workshops, and serving as a local activist.
