Dear Asian filmmakers, the ANIMATOR International Animated Film Festival (Poland) is accepting animated films and animated series until December 17, 2024.

About the festival:
International Animated Film Festival ANIMATOR is one of the three festivals in Poland (and the only animated film festival) to receive Oscar® qualifying status from the American Film Academy. This means that a short film that wins the Festival’s Grand Prix, the Golden Pegasus, is on a fast track to being considered for an Oscar® nomination in the Best Animated Short Film category and can compete for this prestigious award.

Eligibility:
– The festival accepts short films (under 30 minutes), feature films (over 40 minutes) and animated series (including TV specials, pilot episodes, mini-series episodes & TV films).
– The festival accepts all techniques of animations (51% of the film duration must be animated).
– Films must have been completed after December 31, 2021.
– Films must have English subtitles.
– Submission Fee: FREE
– Deadlines: December 17, 2023
– Notification Date: May 23, 2024
