The Cartoons Underground (Singapore) is accepting animated short films until July 15, and Singapore student shorts until August 15, 2023.

About the festival:
Cartoons Underground (CU) is Singapore’s premiere and largest animation film festival, dedicated to showcasing the best award-winning international and local animation works.

Eligibility:
– The festival accepts short films that applied animation techniques.
– Films should not exceed the 30-minute mark.
– Films should be completed after January 1, 2020.
– Singapore students can send their films for the Singapore Student Animation section.
– Films should have English subtitles.
– Submissions must be done via FilmFreeway.
– Submission Fee: FREE

* International Short Films – July 15, 2023
* Singapore Student Shorts – August 15, 2023
– Notification Date: September 15, 2023
