17th Vilnius International Short Film Festival – Call for Entry 2024

Dear Asian filmmakers, the Vilnius International Short Film Festival (Lithuania) is accepting short films until July 15, 2023.

About the festival:
Vilnius International Short Film Festival is one of the biggest short film festivals in the Baltic countries, presenting the newest and best short films from all around the world. Established in 2006, the festival has become a unique platform in Lithuania, not only screening European but also global short films made by both the upcoming generation of talented filmmakers and renowned film directors.

* Note in this article we will only post information for international productions.

Eligibility:
– The festival accepts short films of all production techniques and genres (fiction, documentary, animation, experimental, and hybrid).
– Films should not exceed the 30-minute mark.
– The festival does not require any premiere status but notes that this may come into consideration during the selection process.
– Films must have been completed after January 1, 2022.
– Films that have previously been submitted to the Festival, also works-in-progress are not accepted.
– All non-English language films must be submitted with burned-in English subtitles.
– Submissions must be made via ShortFilmDepot.
Submission Fees and Deadlines:
* Earlybird Deadline | May 31, 2023 | FREE
* Final Deadline | July 15, 2023 | $ 5 Euros
Notification Date: November 15, 2023
