10th Seoul Guro International Kids Film Festival – Call for Entry 2022

The Seoul Guro International Kids Film Festival (Korea) is accepting films until February 14, 2022.

About the festival:
The principal objective of the Seoul Guro International Kids Film Festival (GUKIFF) is to present the most outstanding films for children, youth, and families produced from all over the world. Established in 2013, GUKIFF strives to encourage the youth who will lead the film industry and support them to get various opportunities. GUKIFF realizes the importance of culture that all the family members can share and cherish. GUKIFF attempts to introduce a variety of genres from domestic and foreign dealing with different and necessary themes regarding children.

General Rules:
– The festival accepts films completed after 1st January 2020.
– The festival accepts feature (over 40 minutes) and shorts (under 40 minutes).
– Films that have never been submitted to the GUKIFF before.
– The festival accepts films that deal with ‘children, youth & family’ issues and themes regardless of genre.
– All Korean entrants should submit film through the registration process posted on GUKIFF website www.gukiff.kr.
– Directors who submit films for Kids Challenge section must be under 15 years old as for 2022 (Anyone who is been born after January 2007).
– If not with dialogues in Korean or English, films must be subtitled in English. Additionally, all entrants must provide the festival with a script (including the exact time code for each dialogue) either in English or Korean. GUKIFF reserves the right to reject entries that do not have English subtitles.
Submission Fee: FREE
Deadlines:
Kids Vision & Kids Creative Section – January 15th, 2022
Kids Challenge Section – February 14th, 2022
Notification Date: March 1st, 2022
