
We present the winners of the 7th SeoulMetro International Subway Film Festival that took place from September 29th – 30th, in Seoul (South Korea) and Barcelona (Spain).
1st Award
Seongwoo Barbershop by Dongju Lee – South Korea | 2016 – 1:25 min.
“Seongwoo Barbershop” has been running for three generations, over 90 years. The third owner, Namyeol Lee, who’s been working as a barber for over 50 years, tells us a story. In the barbershop, has never been changed, he is still scissoring sedulously today.

3rd Award
Ssireum by Ki-hyuk Kwak – South Korea | 2014 – 1:30 min.
A seemingly weak player defeats other bigger and stronger players with his advanced techniques in a SSIREUM competition. Sweating players and a heated sand with wild fans! An action animated film on the Korean traditional wrestling sport ‘SSIREUM’.
Special Award
Way to Work by Kyungseok Choi – South Korea | 2016 – 1:30 min.
27 years old, Yoo Joon, who merely started working recently, likes his way to work, Unlike the any other people who hate to even think of their ways to works, he likes his way to work. There is a special reason behind why he likes his way to work.
