The Seoul Yeongdeungpo International Extreme-Short Image & Film Festival (Korea) is accepting short films until July 10, 2024.

General Rules:
The aim of SESIFF is to make innovative visual culture everyone enjoying and imagining beyond just watching movies. Cultural trends are changing rapidly as the speed of the changing world. SESIFF believes that the short can change the world in a better way through powerful message. Be part of our movement.

Eligibility:

Extreme-short Competition
– Shorts completed after January 1st, 2023.
– Accepts any subject or genres.
– Running time should be less than 3 minutes and 30 seconds.
– Films that haven’t been submitted to SESIFF before.

Short Competition
– Shorts completed after January 1st, 2023.
– Accepts any subject or genres.
– Running time between 3 minutes and 30 seconds to 20 minutes.
– Films that haven’t been submitted to SESIFF before.

Korean New Generation
– Accepts any subject or genres.
– Running time less than 20 minutes.
– Films by a director who has no screening history at the SESIFF
– Premiere status must be World Premiere.

– The festival accepts films made with the help of AI.
– Selected films of Extreme-short Film Competition that are agreed for an online/subway screening will be subjected to selection of ‘Seoul Metro International subway Film Festival’ which is a part of SESIFF.
– Preview film must be the same version as the screening file to be screened at the festival.
– Preview film has to offer English subtitles if the dialogue is not in English.
– Submissions can be made via ShortFilmDepot or FilmFreeway.
– Submission Fees: $ 7 USD (submission platform may charge a fee)
– Deadline: July 10, 2024
– Notification Dates: July 22, 2024
