The Tokyo International Film Festival announced this year’s Opening and Closing Films. Underdog by Masaharu Take will open activities on October 31st, and Hokusai by Hajime Hashimoto will close the festival on November 9th.
The Silent Forest by Ko Chen-nien will open the 22nd Taipei Film Festival which will take place from June 25th until July 11th, in Taipei, Taiwan.
Adventures of a Mathematician by Thor Klein will open the 2nd Pyeongchang International Peace Film Festival, which will take place From June 18th – 23rd (2020) in Pyeongchang, South Korea.
The Garden of Evening Mists by Tom Shu-yu Lin (Malaysia) will open the 15th Osaka Asian Film Festival which will take place from March 6th – 15th (2020) in Osaka, Japan.
Mrs Noisy by Amano Chihiro (Japan) will open the Cinemasia Film Festival 2020 which will take place from March 4th – 8th in Studio/K & Rialto at Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Masla A Papanok by Gutierrez Mangansakan II will open the Ngilngig Asian Fantastic Film Festival Davao 2019 which will take place from October 25th – 29th in Davao City, Philippines.
