Dear Asian filmmakers, the Cortos en Grande Film Festival (Chile) is accepting short films until August 31, 2026.

About the festival:
Cortos en Grande Short Film Festival is a bienal event organized by Fundación Viart that seeks to promote young creation and give a new opportunity to new generations of filmmakers, highlighting and rewarding their work and talent. Its main objective is to be a platform for dissemination and real support for the development of emerging cinema, providing its filmmakers with a space for the presentation and development of their artistic proposals.

Eligibility:
– The festival accepts short films under 30 minutes from any kind of genre (fiction, documentary, and animations).
– Films must have been produced between July 2024 and august 2026.
– Each filmmaker can apply for one or more works, these can have been financed by public and/or private funds.
– Applications can be made via FilmFreeway, Festhome and ShortFilmDepot platforms.
– Submission Fee: $ 15 USD | $ 7 USD for Students
– Deadline: August 31, 2026
– Notification Dates: November 30, 2026
