Dear Asian filmmakers, the Guadix Iridescent International Film Festival (Spain) is accepting films until June 30, 2026.

About the festival:
The Iridescent Guadix International Film Festival was created with the aim of promoting diversity, inclusion, and visibility through film.

From the city of Guadix, gateway to the Granada Geopark, this event will offer a space for exhibition, training, and dialogue around cinema, highlighting national and international works. It will also serve as a platform for new talent, promoting the production of independent and arthouse films from an intersectional perspective as a tool for social transformation.

Eligibility:
– The festival accepts films of all nationalities with queer, feminist, human rights, sustainability, and housing access themes.
– The festival accepts shorts (under 30 minutes) and feature films (over 60 minutes).
– Films between 30 and 60 minutes may also participate, at the discretion of the Selection Committee, which will inform interested parties in advance.
– Films of all genres are accepted (excluding advertising and corporate films). The subject matter is open, provided it aligns with GIFIC’s values and objectives.
– Films must have been produced after January 1, 2025.
– Films may be shot in any language. All non-Spanish films must be submitted for consideration by the programming committee with English and Spanish subtitles.
– Work-in-progress or non-final cuts will be accepted, provided that a final exhibition copy is available before August 1, 2026.
– Submissions can be made via FestHome or FilmFreeway.
