The Indie-AniFest – Korea Independent Animation Film Festival (Korea) is accepting short animations until June 15, and feature animations until July 6, 2026. *Only for Asian productions*

About the festival:
Indie-AniFest (Korea Independent Animation Film Festival) organized by KIAFA, the Korean Independent Animation Filmmakers’ Association. Indie-AniFest presents spectacular independent animated films from Korea and Asia. The festival offers a diverse range of works and opportunities for filmmakers as well as a chance to interact with audiences. They strive for the values of independence, experimentation, passion, and vision by working together with independent animation directors.

Eligibility:
– Films should be completed after January 2025 for the ASIAN ROAD Competition, and completed after August 2024 for the MIRINAE ROAD Competition.
– Films submitted previously to Indie-AniFest are not eligible.
– Works must be from Asian countries.
– Over 50% of the production must be animated.
– The ASIA ROAD Competition is for Asian short films (excluding Korea) under 40 minutes.
– The MIRINAE ROAD Competition is for Asian feature films over 40 minutes.
– If a film was produced by more than one country it must have at least one Asian country included.
– Films with dialogues or narration in languages other than English must have integrated English subtitles.
– Submission Fee: FREE
– Deadlines:
* ASIA ROAD – June 15, 2026
* Mirinae Road – July 6, 2026
– Notification Dates: June 30, 2026 for the ASIAN ROAD and July 27, 2026 for the MIRINAE ROAD.
