The Sinepiyu Film Festival (Philippines) is accepting short films for the Interschool Division until April 1, and for the Tamaraws Division until April 20, 2026.

About the festival:
Sinepiyu is an annual student-run film festival that provides platform for aspiring student-filmmakers across the Philippines to showcase their stories and storytelling prowess – exploring the unknown and limitless possibilities of cinema, thereby, championing the filmmakers’ freedom of expression.

Sinepiyu XVIII: DIWA “Mula sa Lente ng Katauhan”
DIWA gives premium to the diversity of different voices of filmmakers, honors the unique Filipino identity, takes a stand against threats to human creativity, and describes the unique and unexplainable energy that possesses the artist, or in this case, the filmmakers.

– Narrative
– Documentary
– Experimental

Eligibility:
– Open to all FEU Students, senior high school, and college students across The Philippines.
– Entries must have a total runtime of at least 5 minutes and must not exceed 25 minutes, including opening and closing billboards.
– Films must have been produced no earlier than January 1st, 2025.
– Films must be submitted in MP4 or MOV format with a minimum resolution of 720p HD.
– For the Interschool Division, current members of the FEU Film Society are strictly prohibited from holding major production roles, including producer, director, screenwriter, and main cast in interschool entries. Entries found in violation of this rule will be automatically disqualified.
– For the All Tamaraws Division, participants are exclusive to 4th Year digital cinema student currently enrolled in the director and film production class.
– Original or copyright-free music is encouraged. If copyright audio is used, proper credit and proof or permission from the owner is required.
– Films can be in any language but must include English subtitles.

A. Completed registration form (see link below).
B. Director’s copy of any proof of enrollment (Certificate of Registration, Certificate of Enrollment, and current school ID)
C. Registration fee of 350 pesos to be settled to one of these accounts:

Note: All Tamaraw Division Entries are exempt from the registration fee.
Note 2: Ensure that proof of payment is included in the submission folder

How to organize your submission:
All submissions must be organized in a Google Drive Folder with the following structure:

■ Sub-folder 1 – Named: Film & Trailer
//Must include film and trailer files
■ Sub-folder 2 – Named: Film Poster and Film Still
//Must include Film Poster and Film Stills (in .jpg format)
■ Sub-folder 3 – Named: Film Details
// Must include a comprehensive document with the film’s title, logline, synopsis, credits, total running time and copyright waiver letter (if applicable).
■ Sub-folder 4 – Named: Proof of Registration
//Must include a screenshot of the completed registration form and proof of payment (if applicable – Remember that All Tamaraws Division doesn’t pay the fee)
