Dear Asian filmmakers, the Paris International Animation Film Festival (France) is accepting animated short films until October 1, 2025.

About the festival:
The Festival of Animated Film of Paris proposes you to (re)discover the diversity and abundance of national and international independent animated creation, (national and international) in short format.

Without an imposed topic and open to all technics, PIAFF provides an opportunity to young creators, pros and amateurs, to get known by the audience. Through the competition, the festival awards the best contemporary animated creation.

Eligibility:
– The festival accepts films made with all kinds of animated technics.
– Films should be under 59 minutes of length.
– Shorts can be directed by one or several people.
– The festival accepts productions from autodidacts, students, freelancers, professionals, or amateurs.
– Films must have been produced two years before the date of the festival.
– French subtitles preferred for selection, English subtitles are accepted.
– In case of selection the directors or producers undertake to provide French subtitles one month after the date of the receipt of the mail announcing the selection.
It’s a mandatory condition for screening.
– Submission Fee: FREE
– Deadline: October 1, 2025
– Notification Date: October 15, 2025
