
Dear Asian filmmakers, the It’s All True International Documentary Film Festival (Brazil) is accepting documentaries until December 15, 2023.
About the festival:
It’s All True is the leading event devoted exclusively to the culture of documentary in South America. Founded and directed by Amir Labaki, every year since 1996, around one hundred Brazilian and International documentaries, premières and classics, are screened for ten days simultaneously in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro – Brazil.
Eligibility (International Films):
– The festival only accepts documentary films (both shorts and features).
– Films must have been produced after January 1, 2023.
– Films must be Brazil Premiere.
– The festival accepts the following screening formats: DCP, PRORES or H264.
– Once the film has been selected it cannot be pulled out from the programme.
– Submission Fee: FREE
– Deadline: December 15, 2023
– Notification Date: February 16, 2024
