48th Atlanta Film Festival – Call for Entry 2024

Dear Asian filmmakers, the Atlanta Film Festival (USA) is accepting films until November 3, 2023.

About the festival:
The Atlanta Film Festival (ATLFF)—one of only two-dozen Academy Award® qualifying festivals in the U.S.—is the area’s preeminent celebration of cinema. ATLFF is one of the largest and longest-running festivals in the country, welcoming an audience of over 28,000 to discover hundreds of new independent, international, animated, documentary, and short films, selected from 8000+ submissions from all over the world.

Eligibility:
– The festival accepts feature films (over 40 minutes), and short films (under 40 minutes) of all genres (narrative, documentary, animation and experimental). The festival also accepts episodic projects, music videos, and VR projects.
– Feature films that have been (or will be) publicly released online, on VOD, or DVD prior to the Festival are not eligible to screen.
– Films are not required to be World Premiere but premiere status will take into consideration when making final selections. Films should be at minimum George Premiere (State Premiere).
– Films must have been produced after October 1, 2021.
– All foreign-language films must be submitted with English subtitles.
– All accepted films must provide captions in order to screen.
– Submissions must be made via FilmFreeway.
Submission Fees and Deadlines:

* Student films have a $ 5 USD discount in every category and deadline
