63rd Zlín Film Festival – Asian Presence 2023 (Shorts)

We take a look at the Asian short films that will be screened at the Zlín Film Festival – International Film Festival for Children and Youth, which will take place from June 1 – 7, 2023 in Zlin, Czech Republic.

My Grandmother Is an Egg by Wu-Ching Chang – Taiwan, UK | 2021 – 8 minutes*

A look at women’s issues and their oppression in the struggle for freedom. Based on interviews with a grandmother, it reflects the historical context of Taiwan. (ZlinFF 2023)
