Daughter’s Daughter directed by Xi Huang will open the Taiwan Film Festival of Boston which will take place in selected cinemas from September 19 – October 25, 2025 and online from September 26 – October 12, 2025.
Lesbian Space Princess directed by Emma Hough Hobbs, Leela Varghese will open the Indie-AniFest, Seoul Independent Animation Festival which will take place from September 18 – 23, 2025 in Seoul, South Korea.
Four Trails directed by Robin Lee will open the Odyssey Film Festival (UK) which will take place from September 15 – 30, 2025 in selected cinemas and online.
Mr. Nobody Against Putin directed by David Borenstein and Pavel Talankin will open the DMZ International Documentary Film Festival which will take place from September 11 – 17, 2025 in Gyeonggi and Paju.
The Mindanao Film Festival (Philippines) is accepting films until October 17, 2025.
The Taiwan International Documentary Festival (Taiwan) is accepting documentaries until December 4, 2025.
