These are our ten recommended films from the Summer International Film Festival, which is taking place from August 14 – 26, 2024 in Hong Kong and is organized by the Hong Kong International Film Festival Society (HKIFFS).

The Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia (Japan) is accepting narrative, documentary, and animated short films until January 31st, 2025; and branded shorts until February 28th, 2025.
Dear Asian filmmakers, the Doc Edge Festival (New Zealand) is accepting documentaries until January 26, 2025.
The Seoul International Food Film Festival (Korea) is accepting short films until September 15, 2024.
