Dear Asian filmmakers, the Nepal America International Film Festival is accepting films until April 15, 2026.

About the festival:
The Nepal America International Film Festival is organized by the Nepal American Film Society. The festival focuses on bridging the Nepali and American culture, and community through cinema by partnering with film, arts and other development organizations. NAFS strongly encourages collaboration efforts of individuals and organizations from Nepali Diaspora community.

Eligibility:
– Films of any length and genre are welcome, including features, documentaries, shorts, student films, series, and experimental films.
– Films must have been produced after January 1, 2024.
– Films in languages other than English must have subtitles in the English language.
– The festival prioritizes US and World Premieres.
– Films that have previously been formally screened in theaters within the Washington, D.C. metro area or at festivals in the broader D.C., Maryland, and Virginia region will not be considered. Additionally, films that have been streamed on online platforms are not eligible.
– Films should be submitted along with a short introduction and a signed cover letter that encloses posters, synopsis, bios, film stills, and other relevant materials.
– Submission Fees:
* International Productions – $ 55 USD
* International Shorts – $ 35 USD
* Nepali Panorama – $ FREE
– Deadline: April 15, 2026
– Notification Date: May 7, 2026
