I Accidentally Wrote a Book directed by Nora Lakos will open the Taiwan International Children’s Film Festival which will take place from March 27 until April 3, 2026 in Taipei, Taiwan.

12-year-old Nina dreams of becoming a writer, but she can’t come up with a good story. To practice writing, she begins recording her daily life in a notebook. As she writes, she gradually learns more about her family’s past, hears many stories about her long-lost mother, and gains a deeper understanding of her true self. (TICFF 2026)
