31st Canberra Short Film Festival – Call for Entry 2026

Dear Asian filmmakers, the Canberra Short Film Festival (Australia) is accepting short films until June 30, 2026.

About the festival:
The Canberra Short Film Festival celebrates short films and the creative voices that shape them. Now in its 31st year, CSFF is one of Australia’s longest-running, competition-based short film festivals and one of its most welcoming. Based in Canberra, Australia’s national capital, the CSFF is a festival with genuine reach. We attract submissions from more than 50 countries and screen to audiences who show up because they love cinema. When your film screens at the CSFF, it is not lost in the scale of a mega-festival.

Eligibility:
– Short films should not exceed the 20 minute mark including titles and credits.
– Films must be produced after July 1, 2024.
– All foreign language films must be subtitled/dubbed in English to be eligible for judging.
– Submissions must be made via FilmFreeway.
