
Dear Asian filmmakers, Olhar de Cinema, Curitiba International Film Festival (Brazil) is accepting films until February 26, 2026.
About the festival:
Olhar de Cinema – Curitiba IFF began its activities as an independent film festival. Since 2012, the festival has attracted more than 200,000 people to movie theaters, 30,000 people watching movies online and exhibited more than 1,000 films from all over the world.
Eligibility:
– The festival accepts both short (under 49 minutes) and feature films (over 50 minutes).
– The festival accepts all kinds of films and genres.
– International films must be Brazil Premiere.
– Films must have been screen publicly after May 1, 2025.
– Screening formats: DCP and ProRes 4:2:2.
– Non-premiere short and feature films may compose the non-competitive festival sections at the discretion of the Festival’s programming team.
– All films must be submitted with subtitles in English or Portuguese when not spoken in Portuguese.
– Submission Fees:
* Short Films – $ 10 Euros
* Feature Films – $ 30 Euros
– Deadline: February 26, 2026
– Notification Date: May 5, 2026
