
Dear Asian filmmakers, the FIDMarseille – Marseille International Film Festival (France) is accepting films until March 15, 2026.
About the festival:
Every year in early July, the FIDMarseille —Marseille International Film Festival— proposes a programme of 130 films to approximately 23,500 spectators, in cinemas, theaters, libraries, art galleries, and in open-air amphitheaters throughout the city. The festival presents a large number of films in their world premiere as well as first films. Today, the FIDMarseille is recognized as a source of new cinemas, both documentary productions as well as fiction films.
Eligibility:
– The festival accepts short (under 60 minutes) and feature films (over 60 minutes).
– The person submitting the film must indicate whether it is a first film.
– Films must have been produced after January 1, 2025.
– Filmmakers are allowed to submit more than one film.
– All films submitted for selection must be in original version, with French or English subtitles.
– The director and the entitled persons commit themselves not to withdraw films once the festival program is publicly announced during the press conference which be held at the beginning of June 2026.
– Submissions must be done via Eventival.
– Submission Fees:
* Shorts – $ 25 Euros
* Features – $ 50 Euros
– Deadlines:
* Films produced in 2025 – January 31, 2026
* Films produced in 2026 – March 15, 2026
