
Dear Asian filmmakers, the International Film Festival of Punta del Este (Uruguay) is accepting feature films until November 30, 2025. *Note: International films can only submit to non-competitive section*
About the festival:
Founded in 1951 by Mauricio Litman, it seeks to be a tool for the development of the Uruguayan audiovisual sector, for the construction of a cinematographic audience and a factor of cultural tourist interest. Its character and attractive trajectory position it as the most important film event in Uruguay and one of the main ones in the Latin American region.
Eligibility (International Films):
– The Panorama International section is a non-competitive section.
– The festival accepts fictions and documentaries from around the world.
– Films must have been produced after January 1, 2025.
– Films must be 60 minutes or longer, in digital format.
– Films must be Uruguayan Premiere.
– The film MUST have Spanish subtitles.
– Submission Fee: FREE
– Deadline: November 30, 2025
