
Dear Asian filmmakers, the Seattle Asian American Film Festival (USA) is accepting films made by Asian American filmmakers until December 20, 2025.
About the festival:
Seattle Asian American Film Festival (SAAFF) is a film festival that provides a space for pan-Asian American voices, perspectives, and histories told through multimedia arts in Seattle. Their volunteer-run organization empowers and uplifts Asian American creatives and builds community connections through their annual festival and other year-round events.
Eligibility:
– The festival accepts short films (under 45 minutes) and feature films (over 46 minutes) made by Asian American filmmakers, as well as films from across the USA dealing with Asian American people, issues, and themes.
– Films must have a completion date of no earlier than 2023.
– Work-in-progress are not eligible for submission.
– The festival accepts films of all premiere statuses, including films that already have distribution and/or are available for streaming online.
– All non-English language films must have English subtitles or no dialogue.
– Entry fees will not be refunded.
– Submissions must be made via FilmFreeway.
