Dear Asian filmmakers, the CAAMFest (USA) is accepting films until December 12, 2025.

About the festival:
CAAMFest (presented by the Center for Asian American Media) is one of the nation’s largest and enduring showcases for Asian and Asian American talent in film, food, music, and ideas. Since 1982, the annual festival has been an important launching point for Asian American independent filmmakers.

Eligibility:
– The festival accepts all kind of genres (fiction, documentary, experimental, and animation).
– The festival accepts films made by or about Asian American and diasporic experiences.
– The festival accepts feature films (over 41 minutes) and short films (under 40 minutes). Music Videos and Episodic content are eligible for submission. The festival also accepts music videos and episodic projects.
– CAAMFest will consider films that are rough cuts or works-in-progress as long as the work is completed by February 1, 2026.
– Films should be at minimum Bay Area Premiere.
– All non-English language films with dialogue must have English subtitles. English language films with subtitles are appreciated, but not required.
– Submissions must be made via FilmFreeway.
– Submission Fees and Deadlines:
* Early Bird Deadline – November 7, 2025 | $ 35 USD
* Normal Deadline – December 12, 2025 | $ 40 USD
– Notification Date: April 3, 2026
