35th Florida Film Festival – Call for Entry 2026

Dear Asian filmmakers, the Florida Film Festival (United States) is accepting films until December 10, 2025.

About the festival:
This 10-day celebration of filmmakers and their art includes an Oscar® accredited American Independent Film Competition for features, docs, shorts, and animation, along with an International Showcase, Spotlight Films (those already with distribution), Midnight Movies, Music Films, Food Films, Florida Films, VR/AR, New Media/Web, Secret Screenings, Tributes, Special Guests, Panels & Forums, parties, and more.

Note: The information published in this article will only cover categories or competitions for international films, for categories for local films please visit the festival’s website.

Eligibility:
– The festival accepts feature films (fiction, documentary, or animation) over 41 minutes. And short films (fiction, documentary, animation, or experimental) under 40 minutes.
– Films may not have been completed and/or publicly screened in the United States prior to January 1, 2025.
– Feature Films (Narrative/Documentary) may not be streaming or commercially released (theatrical) prior to April 2026.
– Films should be at least Florida Premiere.
– Submissions must be made via FilmFreeway.
