
Dear Asian filmmakers, the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival (France) is accepting short films until September 25, 2025.
About the festival:
The Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival is the world’s largest film festival dedicated to short films. The festival accredited by FIAPF, the International Federation of Film Producers’ Associations and is a qualifying festival for the Oscars®, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts awards (BAFTA), the European Film Awards and the César Awards.
Eligibility:
– Short Films must have been completed after October 1, 2024.
– The festival accepts all kinds of films and genres (fiction, animation, documentary, experimental, etc).
– Short Films must not exceed the 40-minute mark.
– Films already submitted to previous editions are not accepted, even in a new version. – Industrial or commercial films are NOT accepted.
– The Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival does not apply a premiere status rule, but special attention will be paid to films that have not yet been shown.
– For all school films produced in the context of higher education and/or vocational training and/or apprenticeships, the contact who made the submission must be able to provide proof of the school’s agreement on request. In the absence of such proof, SQP reserves the right to cancel the film’s registration.
– Submissions must be done via Shortfilmdepot.com
– Submission Fee: $ 13 Euros + 1 Stamp from ShortFilmDepot
– Deadlines:
* For films completed between October 1, 2024 and December 31, 2024 – July 10, 2025
* For films produced in 2025 – September 25, 2025
– Notification Date: December 18, 2024
