Dear Asian filmmakers, the Movies that Matter Festival (Netherlands) is accepting films until November 1, 2025.
About the festival:
Since this festival’s first edition in 1995, the number of movies made about situations in which human rights are being violated and human dignity is at stake has risen considerably. The founding of Movies that Matter created a new platform on which the human rights movies and the increasing public interest in them can be brought together. This covers national programmes, among which an education programme, a monthly national film programme and a film and debate festival in The Hague, as well as international projects.
