The Nepal International Film Festival is accepting films until December 15, 2025.

About the festival:
Nepal International Film Festival (NIFF) is Nepal’s main annual film event. It screens a wide range of global films that are culturally significant and artistically innovative. The festival helps connect filmmakers from different countries, encourages discussions about cinema, and supports the film industry in Nepal and abroad.

Eligibility:
– The festival accepts feature films (60 – 120 minutes), documentaries (over 30 minutes), and short films (under 30 minutes).
– Films should have been produced after January 1, 2024.
– Selection Committee will prioritize fresh projects with at least a Nepal Premiere status by festival date.
– Films that have been screened before are not eligible.
– Submitted films under all competition segments must have English subtitles in them.
– Submissions must be made via FilmFreeway.
