19th Glasgow Short Film Festival – Call for Entry 2026

Dear Asian filmmakers, the Glasgow Short Film Festival (Scotland) is accepting short films until October 28, 2025.

About the festival:
Since 2008 Glasgow Short Film Festival has been the leading short film event in Scotland, hosting an inclusive community of filmmakers and film lovers, showcasing ground-breaking works of visual storytelling. We nurture and promote diverse forms of cinematic expression, in Scotland and around the world.

Eligibility:
– The festival is open to short films of all production techniques, forms, genres and budgets.
– Films must not exceed the 40-minute mark, including credits.
– Films must have been completed after September 30, 2024.
– Films previously submitted to previous editions of the festival will not be considered,
– GSFF has no premiere status rule, and accepts works that are available online.
– Submissions can be made via the festival’s website or via FilmFreeway.
