
Dear Asian filmmakers, the Big Sky Documentary Film Festival (USA) is accepting documentaries until October 3, 2025.
About the festival:
The Big Sky Documentary Film Festival is the premier venue for non-fiction film in the American West. Big Sky offers an ideal setting for filmmakers to premiere new work and develop lasting relationships with fellow filmmakers and industry.
Eligibility:
– Submissions are open to nonfiction films of all styles, subjects, and lengths.
– The festival doesn’t have a premiere requirement, but documentaries should be at minimum Montana Premiere.
– Work that has previously screened online may be considered, however priority is given to work that has not already reached a wide audience.
– Preview screeners and exhibition screeners must either be in English or have English subtitles.
– Submissions must be done via FilmFreeway.
– Entry fees are non-refundable.
