Dear Asian filmmakers, the San Sebastian Horror and Fantasy Film Festival (Spain) is accepting fantasy and horror films until August 19, 2025.

About the festival:
The San Sebastián Horror and Fantasy Film Festival took its first steps in 1990. Ever since its beginnings, the Festival has endeavored to fashion a programme offering something for every kind of spectator. Horror movies, sci-fi, animation, shorts, classics from all over the world… have alternated the length and breadth of its history with shows, exhibitions, concerts and various other activities.

Eligibility:
– Films must have a fantasy or horror theme.
– The festival accepts shorts (under 20 minutes) and feature films (over 30 minutes).
– Films must have been produced after January 1, 2024.
– There is no premiere status requirement.
– Feature films should be submitted via MoviBeta and short films via ShortFilmDepot.
– Submission Fee: FREE (films submission platforms may charge a small fee).
– Deadline: August 19, 2025

* Feature Films – November 9, 2025
* Short Films – October 10, 2025
