
Dear Asian filmmakers, the Bogotá International Documentary Film Festival (Colombia) is accepting documentaries until May 1, 2025.
About the festival:
The Bogotá International Documentary Film Festival (MIDBO), organized by the Colombian Documentary Filmmakers Corporation ALADOS, is an event specialized in documentaries that over the past 26 years has consolidated itself in Colombia and Latin America as a fundamental space for exhibition, dialogue, and thought around non-fiction audiovisual works.

Eligibility (Non-competitive section):
– The Festival accepts documentaries from Europe, Africa, Asia, Oceania, the United States, and Canada for the International Section.
– The festival accepts documentaries of any length and format.
– Films must have been completed after January 1, 2024.
– Films in languages other than Spanish must have Spanish subtitles. Non-subtitled films will not be accepted.
– The following will not be considered for selection: TV news reports, commercial documentaries (for brands), institutional videos.
– Submission Fee: $ 8 USD
– Deadline: May 1, 2025
– Notification Date: September 1, 2025
