Teenager Johanne reflects on an episode from her sexual awakening, when she fell in unrequited love with her older female teacher. Committing memory to paper, she shares her creation with her mother and grandmother, who are so impressed with the piece they grow convinced it should be published professionally. Furthering his exploration of desire and societal mores, director Dag Johan Haugerud concludes his informal trilogy on love, lust, and longing with a complex reflection on young love, personal growth, and the catharsis of artistic creation. Golden Bear for Best Film, Berlinale. (HKIFF 2025)
