
Dear Asian filmmakers, the Torino Film Festival (Italy) is accepting films until September 5, 2025.
About the festival:
The Torino Film Festival’s purpose is to constitute a meeting point for contemporary international cinema and to provide the opportunity for a discussion on all its perspectives and artistic trends. The Festival pays particular attention to emerging cinemas and young filmmakers. In its competitive sections, it promotes films by new directors whose works are characterized by strong formal and stylistic innovation.

* International Short Films Competition
Eligibility:
– The festival accepts both short films (under 30 minutes) and feature films (over 52 minutes).
– Films must be completed after September 1, 2024.
– For feature films the festival will accept exclusively films with World or International Premiere status.
– For short films the festival will accept exclusively films with International or European Premiere status.
– Foreign films will be screened in their original version with Italian subtitles. For non-English speaking films, the producers are invited – when possible – to provide an English subtitled print.
– Submissions must be made via FilmFreeway.
